Q: Are there any other years that will fit a 1994 Toyota Camry sun visor?
I have a 1994 Toyota Camry and broke the driver’s side sun visor off a while back. I’m looking to find a replacement on sites like eBay, but the pickings are slim. Does anyone know which years will fit a 1994 Camry? It looks like 1992-1996 might be the same, but I’d like to know if any other years or Toyota models will also fit in that model as well. Thanks!

A: The previous answerer is WRONG !!

The 91 all the way up through 98 will fit.

I have a 1991 toyota camry that the transmission blew out on me. I found a 1994 toyota camry at the junk yard and need to know if that tranny will fit into my 1991 vehicle. Thanks all.

A: from what i see, it won’t. in 1994 they redesigned it. Find one that is the same model that yours is, around same years.

Q: is a Toyota Camry 1994 a good car to buy?
Im looking to buy my first car. a friend told me that some is selling a toyota camry 1994. he said that car is in good shape. its a 1994 toyota camry, 6 cinders, and with low miles on it. the price of the car is going for 1,400. well i just want to know is it a good car to buy and if going to waste alot of gas?

A: We previously owned 1993 Camry LE purchased brand new and kept it 12 years with 211,000 miles until my wife and all her sisters insisted on SUVs. We had quite a few expensive things done like several times (Timing Belt every 90K) and bec it was difficult to drive 3 cars once my wife got her 2005 Highlander 6 cylinder AWD, things started popping up and we ended up giving it away to our mechanic but it still runs today implying old good cars need to be babied and one cannot just let them sit…

Personally as your 1st car, I think it is too old and you have to (i) find a good trustworthy mechanic that knows Toyotas and (ii) you also have to be willing to take it to the mechanic knowing it might costs you $200 plus everythng somethng goes wrong bec otherwise your lack of familiarity with auto maintenance could say damage the engine & transmission etc well beyond the $1,400 where repair is not feasible and you would have wished your $1,400 went toward a better used car choice.

Hope the Above Info Opens YourEyes & Helps Your Decision. Best of Luck!

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry LE. My high mount brake light has blowed and I need to replace it, but I dont know how to get to the bulb. Can anyone help me please?

A: Have you tried reading the owner’s manual?

There are only two ways to access the bulb. Either from the trunk area, or removing the cover of the high mount light.

I’m pretty sure that you have to remove the cover.

Google is your friend

Q: What could be making my 1994 Toyota Camry V4 is idle rough?
I have a 1994 toyota Camry 4cy and 2 days ago i noticed while i was driving and i stop it would start rumbling and i pulled over and saw the air intake hose was cracked. I ordered and changed it a couple of days later. Now it is rumbling during idle and i can hear a hissing sound coming around the throttle block. Any ideas what and how to check this.

Q: How Many Miles Do You Have on Your Toyota Camry 1994?
I just bought Camry Toyota 1994 and has 122K miles. I wonder how long it will run with me.

A: Assuming it has been properly cared for, I’d expect it to go at least 200,000 miles. (Regular oil and filter changes and air cleaner changes are the most critical items for long engine life.)

Q: Average price to have brake pads replaced at a garage for a 1994 Toyota Camry?
Anyone have an estimate for replacing 4 brakes pads for a 1994 Toyota Camry? I’m under the impression it’s a pretty cheap replacement? Also I’d like to know how much brake pads have to be worn before you think about replacing them. Thanks.

A: Wow a hundred bucks.
Now if you are doing it yourself i will agree with 100 bucks.
If a garage is doing it then look at around 400.
You should start looking when you have about 3/16″ of pad left. this will give you time and by then you have put 40K the pads, which is a good round mileage for an auto transmission car. the rear brakes can go 60 to 70K without a problem. If you feel shuddering in the wheel or when you apply brakes, This is another sign of time for brakes

Q: 1994 Toyota Camry, how many work hours would it take a shade tree mechanic, from start to finish to rebuild?
how many hours would it take to change the Rings,Pistons,Clutch,Crank,Bearings,on a 1994 toyota camry, just so i know if i want to fix it or junk it, thanks and Happy Holidays

A: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadetree_Mechanic

Shadetree Mechanic was a tv show back in the 90’s.

I highly doubt you’re going to get your car on that show.

Now, if you’re attempting to fix your own car, that’s a different story. And if you don’t know how long it will take, don’t bother. You don’t know enough to fix it anyway

Q: What could cause my 1994 Toyota Camry to idel fine but when i give it gas it bogs out?

A: start with a fuel fitler. it may not be the only problem, but it is the cheapest and easiest thing to start with. it is the most overlooked basic maintance to be done after oil changes.

Q: Help finding a motor for a 1994 Toyota Camry?
I am looking for a engine for a 2 door 1994 Toyota Camry. I am hoping to spend the least money possible. I have checked many websites and they are hard to navigate and don’t usually have what I need. Any information is really helpful. BTW I am looking for this for my mother who has no computer skills and hates mechanics! Lol

A: Hard to believe you need a WHOLE new engine. If you do, go to “car-part,com”. Have another person check this car out. Worst case scenario is that it may need a new head gasket. This is WAY easier to do than replacing the whole engine. The Toyota engine block is almost bullet proof. GET ANOTHER OPINION!!!
