I was wondering how long the car can run for and if it would be worth it. The owner says that all scheduled maintenance has been completed and has several other upgrades to the car. A: ENGINE UPGRADES ALL THE WAY. . . . forget the lambo doors . . make that thing crank 600 horses of pure muscle thats what mopars are made for. . not throwing big ass rims on it so it can get broken into and stolen

A: A Dodge Charger would prob be the worst thing in the snow, it is a rear wheel drive car and its a V8 also depending on what model you get, SRT, Hemi….like i said depending on the model your prob looking at about 13,000-25,000 in 2011

Front wheel drive 4 cylinder or 4 wheel drive will perform better in snow, Like a Subaru would be great in snow and it has some Balls if you get the SRT 4 wheel Drive

Q: How do you change the fog lights on a 2006 dodge charger?
I have a 2006 dodge charger and don’t wanna take it to the dealer just to change out a bulb in the fog lights

A: The best way to do it is to take out a few of the push pins out of the bottom closeout panel and try to get to it from the bottom side. You should be able to get your hand in there by pulling down on the plastic after you have taken out the pins. The bulb should be turned counterclockwise and pulled straight out.

To remove the lens the dodge service info tells you to remove the upper closeout panel, headlight, and most of the front bumper fascia.

A: The previous owner probably purchased a three year subscription – that’s the max on XM. If they didn’t transfer whatever they had left to a different radio – you’ve got it!

I would just be happy you have it for nothing until it stops working, and then sign up. Don’t call XM now because if this is on due to some time of screwup on their end you’ll only make them aware of it, and then bye bye free XM.

A: if you use ceramic pads back on it they cost around 60 bucks a set and that will do the front part it ,then turning the rotors will add another ten bucks to the cost of doing it,if your having it done they,ll charge you around 130-140 bucks just for the front ones on it,and about the same on the back ones,good luck.

Q: Is it worth changing my exhaust on a 2006 dodge charger rt?
I own a 2006 dodge charger rt with the road and track performance group package. As most of you know the road and track package has slightly different exhaust/intake which gives it a extra 10hps. I’m was thinking about changing the exhaust on it, but i don’t know if it’s really worth doing considering it already has a upgrade exhaust (which is quiet but is ok with me).

A: i wouldn’t change it ,because you already have the performance package with that car,and it was designed to run well with that system,they do really well with the stock system,you could take the money you was going to spend on that and do something else to it,id rather have it running quiet and performing well as have it loud and not doing as good as it was designed to do,stock is good on that one,good luck,and merry x-mas.

Q: how do you unlatch the backseat to a 2006 dodge charger?

A: My first question for you is which model is it? If your car is an SE the rear seats do not pull forward. The SXT and RT has nylon loops on the side of the seat about 4 inches down from the top. Pull it straight out on the loop and the seat with pull forward, allowing you into the trunk.

I live in iowa and we can get a lot of snow in the winter. I know the charger is rear wheel drive but i was told buy some people that it has traction control and it helps in the winter. What are your thoughts on the performance of a new dodge charger in the winter?

A: RWD Chargers, Magnum’s & 300’s are pretty stable in winter driving conditions with ESP and if you add 4 winter tires to the car.

However, the Dodge Charger has come out with a AWD version for 2007 like the Magnum & 300’s. These AWD versions are incredible in the snow and ice!

A: Don’t listen to Michele…The new Chargers with 3.5, 5.7 and 6.1 engines use a NAG1 Mercedes 5 spd transmission. And as far as I know that transmission is outstanding. I should know cause I have an 07 Charger myself. I frequent chargerforums.com and I have not seen anyone post about their tranny failing or anything like that. The 3.5 engine in the SXT model is plenty to move the heavy car. Obviously it’s not a racing engine but it has some pep and will move that heavy body no problem. That engine has been around for over 10 years and is reliable.

By the way for an 06 with that many miles you should try talking the price down to about 11K. Or you might consider buying the R/T model with a 5.7 Hemi. You can find an 06 R/T with around 50,000 miles for about 14K.

A: if you get one that’s been taken good car of it will last well beyond 5 years and then some,dodges aren’t bad cars people give them a hard time but if you take care of them they will last a long time,the problem is most people drive them forever a then when one does tear up they blame it on the brand of car it is,i been driving dodges for about 30 years now and the only ones that actually tore up on me is the ones i caused to tear up or the ones i got that hadn’t been take of care of,good luck.
